This is the new Suzuki Jimny light commercial vehicle which is a lightweight and small off-roader.
It has only two seats and a small load space but since the car was launched in 2018, the Jimny has been a popular choice for professionals and private drivers wanting great off-road performance.
Suzuki says that its new LCV model will only be available in limited numbers for buyers in the UK.
The Jimny has a load area of 863 litres with a safety cargo partition and a flat load space floor which will meet the needs of lots of business professionals.
The Suzuki Jimny LCV
For those interested in the Suzuki Jimny LCV, there’s just one trim but it does include automatic braking to avoid a collision, DAB radio and air-conditioning.
Drivers also get cruise control with speed limiter and 15-inch steel wheels.
However, it is for the selectable all-wheel drive ‘Allgrip pro’ with its low transfer gear that will attract attention.
This will offer grip across a range of slippery surfaces and up steep hills.
One model of the Suzuki Jimny
And since there’s just one model of the Suzuki Jimny, prices start at £16,796 ex VAT – that’s £19,999 inc VAT.
For the money, businesses and private drivers get authentic off-roading performance from a vehicle with an established reputation.
Most of the performance comes with its ladder frame and rigid axle suspension.
The boot size is 33 litres larger than the passenger sibling, and there is a range of safety features too.
Jimny’s equipment list
Among the Jimny’s equipment list is eCall, which is an emergency calling function to tell the emergency services where the car is should it be involved in an accident.
There’s also hill hold control and descent, tyre pressure monitoring, electronic stability and ABS.
Suzuki is also adding remote central door locking, a security alarm and an immobiliser.
A small and very capable van
Business users interested in a small and very capable van also get to enjoy cruise control with speed limiter, halogen multi-reflector headlamps, daytime running lights, electrically adjustable door mirrors and an emergency back door release lever.
The entertainment system is also Bluetooth compatible, and there’s an MP3 compatible CD player.
