If you like the look of this stylish VW Caddy then you will have to get your skates on because it’s only on sale from October until December.
Called the Black Edition, buyers will be to enjoy deep black pearlescent paintjob and several unique styling features.
Inside there is a leather and Alcantara interior and extra equipment above the standard spec.
Kit and style for the VW Caddy Black Edition
Based on the firm’s popular Highline spec, this model has more than £2,000 worth of extra equipment but only has a premium of £1,350.
This is the first commercial vehicle from Volkswagen to be offered in a prestigious Black Edition format and the extra kit makes it the most luxurious VW Caddy ever built.
In addition to the Highline spec, this special edition comes with body coloured mirrors and bumpers as well as door handles, rear parking sensors, fog lights and climatic air con.
There’s also a Bluetooth connectivity, cruise control, polished 17 inch alloy wheels and silver roof rails.
VW Caddy Black Edition impresses
The VW Caddy Black Edition also comes with a multifunction steering wheel, heated wing mirrors, electric windows and a leather gear knob.
However, it’s only available in a short wheelbase panel van form only and is powered by a 1.6 litre TDI diesel engine that will produce 102 PS.
The engine is coupled to a five-speed manual gearbox and there’s BlueMotion technology to help improve economy so drivers can expect around 55 mpg and CO2 emissions of 134g/km.
Handling and economy for the VW Caddy Black Edition
Handling has also been improved with a lower suspension and VW have fitted a full height solid bulkhead to separate the cabin from the load space.
The load volume measures 3.2 cubic metres, so it’s still one of the most spacious vans in the segment.
