The 2022 model range for the Citroen Dispatch and e-Dispatch has been revamped with more efficient diesel engines and a new trim level.
The award-winning vans have also seen their prices being reduced by £1,000 across the line-up.
Prices start at £22,995 for the Dispatch ‘X Pro’ panel van, while the e-Dispatch Electric starts at £26,450 for the ‘Enterprise Pro’ van.
Citroen says this is part of their fair pricing promise so that prices are more transparent for fleet and small business customers.
The e-Dispatch Electric and Dispatch
The e-Dispatch Electric and Dispatch are still available in XS, M and XL lengths.
The XS is 4.6m long, the M has seen its length increase to 4.9m, while the XL is 5.3m long.
The load capacities for the vans are 4.6m³ for the XS variant, for the M it is 5.3m³ and for the XL it is 6.1m³ – all of these are in the panel van configuration.
Citroen also stresses that the load volumes are identical for the e-Dispatch Electric and Dispatch models with a maximum payload of 1,446kg for the Dispatch van, and for the e-Dispatch Electric its payload is 1,004 kg.
Citroen Dispatch crew van and panel van configurations
Both vans can be specified in crew van and panel van configurations, and the crew van comes with a second row of seats and can carry up to six people.
As mentioned, one of the big enhancements for the 2022 model range for the Dispatch is the unveiling of new Euro 6.3-compliant diesel units.
The Blue HDi 100 S&S with the six-speed manual gearbox is more efficient with slightly lower CO2 emissions.
The 2.0-litre BlueHDi 120 diesel engine has now been replaced by the BlueHDi 145 unit and is mated to either an eight-speed automatic gearbox, or the six-speed manual box.
Citroen Dispatch gets new New 1.5-litre BlueHDi unit
There’s also a new 1.5-litre BlueHDi unit for the ‘Driver Pro’ variants with emissions that are 15g/km lower.
For those interested in battery power, the Citroen e-Dispatch Electric has a choice of either a 50kWh battery pack, or a 75kWh version.
The power comes from a 100kW electric motor producing 136 hp, and should deliver a range of 143 miles for the 50kWh battery.
The more powerful 75kWh battery has a range of 205 miles.
Battery takes 30 minutes to recharge to 80% of its capacity
The smaller battery will take 30 minutes to recharge to 80% of its capacity using rapid charging, while the larger battery takes 45 minutes.
There are also new trim names for the Citroen Dispatch – X Pro, Enterprise Pro and Driver Pro.
The entry-level model comes with steel wheels, daytime running lights, twin sliding side doors and a full-size spare wheel.
There’s also a full steel bulkhead separating the load area from the cabin, and all models come with the firm’s emergency and assistance system.
