This is the all-new Vauxhall Movano-e which features a range of body styles, low running costs and class-leading load volume.
It is also available as a diesel-powered van and both it and the electric version will arrive later this year.
Vauxhall says that the new offering will meet a wide range of business demands and this third generation of the Movano is available as a chassis cab, crew cab or panel van.
Battery-powered range of 139 miles
With the Vauxhall Movano-e, the firm is promising low running costs, zero emissions and a battery-powered range of 139 miles.
The electric offering now sits alongside the impressive Vivaro-e and later this year there will be the Vauxhall Combo-e available.
This is part of the firm’s desire to offer an electrified version of all its vans by 2024.
Vauxhall Movano-e
The Vauxhall Movano-e features a 70kWh, or 37kWh battery to deliver a range of 139 or 72 miles.
The van has an electric motor producing 122 PS and torque of 260Nm.
Vauxhall says the new offering is ideal for those firms working in urban environments, particularly with last-mile deliveries.
The Movano-e is also exempt from congestion and ultra-low emissions charge payments.
It also has a benefit-in-kind (BiK) tax rate of 0% and business owners could save thousands of pounds every year in running costs, Vauxhall claims.
No compromise in load volume
There’s no compromise in the load volume offered by the battery-powered van when compared with the diesel-engine sibling.
The battery also helps deliver a low centre of gravity to help with stability and cornering, even when the van is fully loaded.
The battery is also topped up with a regenerative braking system to boost efficiency even further.
Diesel powered Movano van
For those interested in the diesel-powered Movano van, it has a 2.2-litre engine with a range of outputs from 120 PS to 165 PS.
Both vans offer four wheelbase lengths and three height options.
The load volumes range from 8 m³ to 17 m³.
The Movano-e is also packed with class leading technology including forward collision alert, hill descent control and blind spot warning.
The Vauxhall Movano-e van is an impressive offering in a competitive segment and for many firms and private users, it will prove to be a sound EV investment.
