Volkswagen has joined the space race by adding an impressive new Luton van to its Crafter line-up which has joined its pioneering ‘Engineered-to-Go’ collection.
The new VW Luton Crafter van, which is available as a long wheel base, has a load space of 17 cubic metres and a high spec to help make it a vehicle that helps it to stand out from the crowd.
The new van uses VW’s 2.0litre TDI diesel engine with a choice of two power outputs of 136PS and 163PS.

The Luton model is based on the VW Crafter chassis was developed in conjunction with Ingimex, a leading British bodybuilder, and has an internal and height of 2,120mm.
VW’s head of sales, Andrew Waite, said the firm had joined with a firm that is considered to be among the best conversion specialists for its Luton Crafter.
He add: “The new VW Luton Crafter was easy to use and combined reliability and cheap running costs as well as a big load space for great practicality.”
The van also comes with a number of standard attractions including a rear foot step and high-strength shutter as well as a four tier load restraint system.
A rear tail-lift can also be added if required.
VW Luton Crafter is built to last
The VW Luton Crafter has been made using a GRP bulkhead and sides with a bolt frame that has been dip-painted and then powder-coated.
There’s also a bottom plank that has been reinforced to help protect against unsecured loads moving unexpectedly in the cargo bay.
VW but also offering a three-year warranty for its Luton model and prices start at £32,470 ex VAT.
