This is the revised all-electric Mercedes eVito electric panel van which now has a range of 92 miles.
It costs from £40,895 and takes on the likes of the Citroen eDispatch and the Peugeot e-Expert.
The new electric van has two trim levels and a choice of two lengths.
Plus, Mercedes has added new features so the battery-powered eVito mirrors the diesel Vito version launched recently.
Mercedes eVito has the Progressive trim
The Mercedes eVito has the Progressive trim which offers the entry level to the range and has more equipment added.
Also, for the first time, the eVito is available with the firm’s Plus package of extra kit.
The Progressive model offers a 35kWh L2 panel van, while the Plus package offers more standard equipment.
Drivers will get a better infotainment system, a reversing camera and a DAB radio.
There’s also an anti-theft protection package – security is boosted with a Thatcham category 1 approved alarm that is fitted as standard – and the van features double-locks.
Mercedes eVito Plus package
The Mercedes eVito Plus package is now the mid-range choice for the revamped van with colour-coded bumpers, electrical foldable mirrors, parking sensors and a 75mph speed limiter.
The refreshed van has 85kW of power and torque of 300Nm.
The battery takes six hours to charge, though it’s quicker with a fast charging port.
The eVito also comes with the Pro Connect system with free access to deliver real-time reports of fluids and critical parts, theft warning alerts and journey logs.
There’s also geo-fencing available, live locking from a mobile phone, breakdown and accident management as well as live traffic alerts.
All-electric eVito
The all-electric eVito also features the pre-conditioning of the van’s heaters so drivers can enjoy a warm cabin before setting off on a cold day.
There’s also a system to find nearby vehicle charging points with equipment including air condition.
There’s also a full-width partition between the cargo bay and cabin plus there’s a domestic charger and an eight-metre charging cable.
The revamped Mercedes eVito is available to order now with more options available on the van maker’s website.
