Farmers can get to enjoy the Isuzu D-Max pick-up

The Isuzu D-Max pick-up is already good value for money and now farmers who are members of the NFU’s vehicle discount scheme can save even more.

The new offer began on 1 June when the company joined the NFU’s scheme.

The programme is available to NFU partners, retired members and farmers and growers who meet the organisation’s qualifying criteria.

The discount is on top of any deal struck between the customer and the Isuzu D-Max dealer.

The managing director of Isuzu in the UK, William Brown, said: “This deal does a great job in supporting and representing the farming community’s interests.

“The Isuzu D-Max pick-up is already a favourite workhorse of choice in the farming sector and it offers an exceptional proposition.”

Isuzu D-Max pick-up has low running costs

He added: “Not only does the D-Max offer a great combination of low running costs and great value but it also has rugged durability with a refined cabin.”

The Isuzu D-Max pick-up has a braked towing capacity of 3.5 tonnes and is growing in popularity with farmers.

The NFU’s affinity’s manager, Ben Coates, said: “Pick-up vehicles are an essential tool for a farm and often the unsung hero. That’s why we are keen to work with Isuzu to provide farmers with discounts on the D-Max.”

The Isuzu D-Max pick-ups available under the scheme include single, extended and double cabs with prices – before the discount is added – starting at £14,999.

Isuzu D-Max pick-up is a well-made vehicle

Farmers can enjoy a well-made vehicle, it was rated highly by the commercialvehicle.com, review team and has an efficient 2.5 litre twin turbo diesel engine.

The vehicle should return around 39mpg on the combined cycle and the engine will produce 163PS. It’s available with either a five-speed automatic or six speed manual gearbox.

It’s been a good couple of years for Isuzu with the firm racking up more than 5,500 sales of the pick-up last year and they have already notched up 1,800 sales this year.
